Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, shredded

1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup ranch dressing

1/2 cup crispy bacon bits (about 6 slices of bacon)

1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

4 large flour tortillas

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: additional chopped herbs (parsley or dill) for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Filling: In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, sharp cheddar cheese, softened cream cheese, ranch dressing, crispy bacon bits, and green onions. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Assemble the Pinwheels: Lay one flour tortilla flat on a clean surface. Spread about a quarter of the chicken mixture evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges. Gently press the mixture down to ensure it sticks to the tortilla.

Roll the Tortilla: Starting from one end, carefully roll the tortilla tightly into a log shape. Ensure that the filling stays inside as you roll. Repeat this process with the remaining tortillas and filling.

Chill the Pinwheels: Once all tortillas are rolled, wrap them in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. This helps them firm up and makes slicing easier.

Slice and Serve: After chilling, unwrap the pinwheels and place them on a cutting board. Using a sharp knife, slice each roll into about 1-inch thick pieces. Arrange the pinwheels on a serving platter. Optionally, garnish with additional chopped herbs for added color and flavor.

Enjoy: Serve these delectable Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Pinwheels as an appetizer, snack, or a fun party food!
