4 large carrots, peeled and cut into fry shapes

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Prep the Carrots: Begin by peeling the carrots and cutting them into fry shapes, making sure they are uniform in size for even cooking. Aim for about 1/4-inch thick.

    Mix Coating Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly distributed.

      Add Olive Oil: Drizzle the olive oil over the cut carrot fries. Toss them gently in the bowl until all the carrots are lightly coated with oil.

        Coat the Carrots: Transfer the oiled carrot fries into the bowl with the breadcrumb mixture. Toss everything together until the carrot fries are fully coated in the cheesy breadcrumb mix.

          Preheat Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

            Arrange the Carrots: Place the coated carrot fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

              Air Fry: Cook the carrot fries at 400°F (200°C) for 10-12 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking and crispiness. They should be golden brown and crispy by the end of the cooking time.
