Ingredients

1 lb (450 g) ground beef

1 medium onion, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 bell pepper (any color), diced

1 (15 oz) can diced tomatoes, undrained

1 (6 oz) can tomato paste

2 cups beef broth

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

2 teaspoons dried oregano

1 teaspoon paprika

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (for topping)

Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

Brown the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Break it apart with a spatula while cooking. Drain excess fat and transfer to the crockpot.

Sauté veggies: In the same skillet, add the chopped onion, garlic, and diced bell pepper. Sauté for about 3-5 minutes until the onions are translucent. Transfer to the crockpot.

Add the liquids: Stir in the diced tomatoes (with juices), tomato paste, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot.

Season: Add the oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix everything until well combined.

Cook on low: Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.

Add macaroni: About 30 minutes before the cooking time is up, stir in the uncooked elbow macaroni. Cover and continue to cook until the pasta is tender.

Serve: Once cooked, give it a good stir before serving. Top each serving with a sprinkle of shredded cheddar cheese and garnish with chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Enjoy: Serve hot with crusty bread or a green salad on the side for a complete meal.
