Ingredients

6 large corn tortillas

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon sea salt

1 teaspoon chili powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

¼ teaspoon cumin

Optional: 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (for extra heat)

Optional toppings: Fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro, or sliced jalapeños

Instructions

Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.

Cut the Tortillas: Stack the corn tortillas on a cutting board and cut them into triangle-shaped wedges (like slicing a pizza). You can cut each tortilla into 6 or 8 wedges, depending on your desired size.

Prepare the Seasoning: In a small bowl, mix together the sea salt, chili powder, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper if desired.

Coat the Wedges: Place the tortilla wedges in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle the olive oil over the wedges, and sprinkle the seasoning mix on top. Toss the wedges gently until they're evenly coated with oil and seasoning.

Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lay the coated tortilla wedges in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping for even cooking. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.

Air Fry the Chips: Air fry the tortilla chips for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even crisping. They should be golden-brown and crispy when done.

Cool and Serve: Once cooked, remove the chips from the air fryer and let them cool slightly. Serve with optional toppings like a squeeze of fresh lime juice, chopped cilantro, or finely sliced jalapeños for added flavor.
