At the heart of the Berry Bliss Frozen Greek Yogurt Cups is Greek yogurt, which has gained acclaim for its unique texture and superior nutritional profile compared to regular yogurt. Greek yogurt is made by straining whey from regular yogurt, resulting in a thicker and creamier product. This straining process also concentrates the nutrients, making Greek yogurt a rich source of protein, calcium, and probiotics.

Ingredients

2 cups Greek yogurt (plain or flavored)

1/4 cup honey or maple syrup (adjust for sweetness)

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup mixed berries (fresh or frozen: strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

1/4 cup granola or crushed nuts (optional, for topping)

Muffin tin or silicone molds

Parchment paper (if using a muffin tin)

Instructions

Prepare the Molds: If using a muffin tin, line it with parchment paper to make it easier to remove the cups later. If using silicone molds, they're ready to be filled directly.

Mix the Yogurt Base: In a mixing bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and the sweetener is fully incorporated. Adjust the sweetness to your taste.

Add the Berries: Gently fold in the mixed berries into the yogurt mixture, being careful not to break them too much. This will create lovely swirls of color in your cups.

Fill the Molds: Spoon the yogurt-berry mixture into the prepared muffin tins or silicone molds, filling each cup nearly to the top. Use a spatula to smooth the surface if needed.

Top It Off: If desired, sprinkle granola or crushed nuts on top of each cup for an added crunch.

Freeze: Place the filled molds in the freezer for at least 4 hours or until completely frozen.

Serve: Once frozen solid, carefully remove the yogurt cups from the molds. If using a muffin tin, you can gently pull the parchment paper to help release the cups. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to two weeks.

Enjoy: These delightful frozen treats are perfect for a refreshing snack, a healthy dessert, or a post-workout pick-me-up!
