Ingredients

2 cups frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries)

1 cup Greek yogurt (plain or vanilla)

1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional, to taste)

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 ripe banana

1 tablespoon chia seeds

1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

¼ cup granola or crushed nuts (for topping)

Instructions

Blend the Base: In a high-speed blender, combine the frozen mixed berries, Greek yogurt, honey or maple syrup (if using), almond milk, ripe banana, chia seeds, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well combined.

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving some overhang on the sides for easy removal later.

Pour and Spread: Pour the smoothie mixture into the prepared baking pan. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the pan.

Add Toppings: Sprinkle granola or crushed nuts evenly over the top of the smoothie mixture for added crunch and texture.

Freeze the Bars: Place the pan in the freezer and freeze for about 4-6 hours or until completely solid.

Cut into Bars: Once frozen, lift the smoothie block out of the pan using the parchment paper edges. Place it on a cutting board and slice it into your desired size for bars.

Serve and Enjoy: You can store the smoothie bars in an airtight container in the freezer for up to a month. Enjoy them straight from the freezer whenever you're craving a healthy treat!
