Ingredients

4 large turkey drumsticks

4 tablespoons olive oil

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, finely chopped

2 tablespoons fresh thyme, finely chopped

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)

½ teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Prepare Marinade: In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, parsley, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika (if using), and onion powder until well combined.

Marinate the Drumsticks: Place the turkey drumsticks in a large resealable plastic bag or a bowl. Pour the marinade over the drumsticks, ensuring they are evenly coated. Seal the bag (or cover the bowl) and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, but preferably overnight for deeper flavor.

Arrange Drumsticks: After marinating, remove the drumsticks from the fridge. Arrange them on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each drumstick for even cooking.

Roast the Drumsticks: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Roast the drumsticks for 45-50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the skin is golden brown and crispy. You can baste the drumsticks with the leftover marinade halfway through cooking for extra flavor.

Rest and Serve: Once done, remove the drumsticks from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them tender and juicy. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes!
