Ingredients

2 lbs chicken wings

1/4 cup pure maple syrup

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil for easier cleanup. Place a wire rack on top of the baking sheet to allow air circulation around the wings.

Prepare the Marinade: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Marinate the Wings: Add the chicken wings to the bowl with the marinade. Toss them until they are evenly coated. For best results, marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours.

Arrange the Wings: Place the marinated chicken wings in a single layer on the wire rack. This helps them become crispy while roasting.

Roast the Wings: Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time. The wings should be golden brown and crispy on the outside. For extra crispiness, you can broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes at the end.

Garnish and Serve: Once done, remove the wings from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley and, if desired, sprinkle sesame seeds for an added crunch. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
