Ingredients

2 cups tortilla chips

1 cup cooked chili (vegetarian or meat-based)

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/2 cup sour cream

1/4 cup sliced black olives

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/2 tsp chili powder

1/2 tsp cumin

Fresh jalapeño slices (optional, for topping)

Fresh cilantro (for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a saucepan over medium heat, warm the cooked chili, adding chili powder and cumin for extra flavor. Stir occasionally until heated through.

On a baking sheet, spread out the tortilla chips in an even layer.

Spoon the warm chili evenly over the tortilla chips, ensuring each chip has a bit of chili on it.

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese generously over the chili-covered chips.

Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

While the nachos are baking, prepare the cheese drizzle. In a small microwave-safe bowl, melt leftover cheddar cheese and stir until smooth. Add a touch of milk to reach a drizzle consistency if necessary.

Once the nachos are done, remove from the oven and drizzle the melted cheese over the top.

Top with sour cream, sliced black olives, chopped green onions, and jalapeño slices if using.

Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving warm.
