Ingredients

1 package (12 oz) of refrigerated or frozen mini ravioli (cheese or meat-filled)

1 cup Italian seasoned breadcrumbs

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs, beaten

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon dried oregano

Salt and pepper to taste

Cooking oil (for frying)

Marinara sauce (for dipping)

Instructions

Prepare the Ravioli: If using frozen ravioli, cook them according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and let cool for a few minutes. If using fresh ravioli, simply make sure they are separated and ready to be breaded.

Set Up Breading Station: In three separate shallow dishes, place the flour in one, the beaten eggs in the second, and a mixture of breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in the third.

Bread the Ravioli: Coat each ravioli in flour, shaking off the excess. Then, dip it into the beaten eggs, allowing any excess to drip off. Finally, transfer the ravioli to the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the breadcrumbs. Set aside on a baking sheet.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or deep fryer, heat about ½ inch of cooking oil over medium heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

Fry the Ravioli: Carefully add a few breaded ravioli to the hot oil. Do not overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove them and transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.

Serve: Arrange the toasted ravioli bites on a serving platter and serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy your delicious, crispy appetizers!
