2 cups rolled oats

1 cup almond butter (or any nut butter of choice)

1/2 cup honey or maple syrup

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (dark or semi-sweet)

1/4 cup chia seeds (optional for added nutrition)

1/2 cup chopped nuts (almonds, walnuts, or pecans)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

A pinch of sea salt

Prepare the Pan: Line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving some overhang for easier removal later. This will also help prevent sticking.

    Combine Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, and chopped nuts. Stir well to mix everything evenly.

      Mix Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, warm the almond butter and honey (or maple syrup) in the microwave for about 30-45 seconds, until creamy and easily mixable. Stir in the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt until well combined.

        Combine Mixtures: Pour the wet mixture over the dry ingredients. Using a spatula or your hands, mix thoroughly until all the oats and nuts are coated, and the mixture starts to stick together.
