Ingredients

1 lb (450g) flank steak, thinly sliced against the grain

2 cups mixed bell peppers (red, yellow, green), sliced into thin strips

1 cup broccoli florets

1 cup snap peas, trimmed

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced

3 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tablespoons oyster sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for cooking)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Cooked jasmine rice or noodles, for serving

Sesame seeds and chopped green onions, for garnish

Instructions

Prepare the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.

Marinate the Beef: In a medium bowl, combine the thinly sliced flank steak with half of the prepared sauce. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes while you prepare the vegetables.

Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and cook for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and ginger, sautéing for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Then, toss in the bell peppers, broccoli, and snap peas. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the veggies are tender-crisp.

Combine: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour the remaining sauce over the mixture. Toss everything together for an additional 2 minutes to heat through and blend the flavors.

Serve: Season with salt and black pepper to taste, and serve immediately over jasmine rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
